Powder Handling

Mid-Anglia Engineering has been making batch powder sieves, sieve meshes, and breakout stations for over 30 years. Our powder handling systems are completely customisable to the requirements of the customer.

Owing to a tried and tested design and build quality, the vast majority of the sieves we’ve made over the years are still in frontline use. They’re in active use within rapid prototyping, 3D printing, metallurgy, motorsport, automotive, and aerospace companies.

Our sieves are 400mm in diameter as standard, and can be made to 500mm in diameter on request.

MESHES

Our sieves are fitted with customer selected meshes. All of our sieves can be fitted with a wide range of pre-tensioned mesh types, such as stainless steel wire or carbon fibre reinforced nylon, with a micron grade to suit your application. Multiple meshes can be ordered to expand a sieve unit’s capability range.

Both our standard and custom sieves can be augmented with stands or frames designed to the size, requirements, and feed types to suit your process.

Our stations are commonly used in SLS 3D printing for breaking out parts from build volumes.

Our standard E500 station accommodates our standard sieves.
